Our priority at Sport Academies is to keep your children safe and active. We do this in an environment that is fun and inspirational. We pride ourselves on having the best coaches who believe in our philosophies and are trained to ensure your child is well looked after and inspired. Our venues are carefully chosen to provide the best sporting facilities in the country and we make sure the security is strong to give you peace of mind when you leave your child in our care for the Academy.

Staff to children ratios
We are Ofsted registered and follow their guidelines: Children under 5 will be coached to a maximum ratio of 1:6 and older children are coached at a maximum ratio of 1:12. There is always an Academy Manager who is responsible for the safety of the children and the running of the camp.  For more information please visit the Ofsted website; www.ofsted.gov.uk.

Insurance & Police checks
Our staff are CRB cleared and fully trained in accordance with the Ofsted guidelines. Staff are recruited based on their suitability to work with children.

Sport Academies has comprehensive insurance and public liability insurance. A copy of our insurance certificate is held at each venue.

Behaviour
Sport Academies has a strict no bullying policy. We want everyone to enjoy their time with us and if anyone is found to be acting in a way we deem unsuitable then we will contact the parents. We expect good behavior on camps and in classes and we believe in fair play and respect for others. Please make your child aware of this.

Childcare vouchers
Many employers offer tax-free vouchers to assist you with child care. We are happy to accept payment through any childcare voucher scheme.  We are already registered with a number of schemes and will endeavour to join any additional schemes. Discounts
We are pleased to offer a 10% sibling discount when you pay full price for one child.  The discount is applied to the cheapest child place.

Can I change or cancel my booking?
If you wish to change the dates of your camp booking we can do this within the same holiday season (e.g. Summer) free of charge, subject to availability.

Cancellations for camps paid for in full must be received in writing with supporting medical evidence if relevant.

Medication
We keep a record of all medication administered to children whilst at Sport Academies. Please inform us if medication is required to be given when booking through the Special Requirements section on the booking form. By completing this section you are allowing our staff to administer the medication. If you do not want our staff to administer the medication please indicate so in the Special Requirements box on the booking form.

Personal belongings
We recommend that children DO NOT bring unnecessary personal belongings (see what to bring to camp in FAQ section) and all items are clearly named. We recommend that children do not wear their best clothes and give any clothes they take off and valuables to their coach. If these get lost, stolen or broken, Sport Academies cannot be held responsible; however we will do our best to take care of them. We understand that parents may want to give their children mobile phones. However, this is at their own risk and although we will do our best to keep items safe, if they get lost, stolen or broke, we cannot be held responsible.  Any lost property is kept for one month after the end of the holiday season or term.  If you have lost anything then please contact our team.
